Bill Cannon’s tour of Lake County
Bill Cannon, archaeologist on the Lakeview Ranger District, has offered to do a guided four day tour of heritage sites on his district.
ASCO members would camp at Mudd Lake, arriving on the evening of June 26 (a Thursday), tour sites the 27th, 28th, 29th and 30th, then return to Bend on the 1st of July.

Santiam Wagon Road Surveys
We are looking for ASCO volunteers who want to help identify what physical remains are left of the Santiam Wagon Road, also known as the Willamette Valley and Cascade Mountain Military Road.
We sill have an initial survey day on Saturday, June 28, and I expect to set up several more days for a joint survey, as well as provide information and forms for anyone who wants to survey and record wagon road features on their own schedule.
